Consider the two scenario:1. You are giving fix to bug. you are testing that the application is free from that bug is called re-testing.2. You are giving fix to bug. you are testing that the fix will impact on the existing application functionality, this is regression.

First of all we need to check the new features which we are going to add how it effects the application, analysis has to be made because of adding a new features, then if the risk is low then we can add the new features in the application, or else we can add in next version of the build.

System testing is nothing but testing the whole application which was integrated all the modules.
In system testing, there are two type of testing
1.Fuctionality testing, 2.Non-functionality testing
Functionality testing means test whether application functioning stated requirement or not.
In non-functionality testing, it has more no. of types
ie. Load, stress, performance, reliability, security, usability,configuration, compatibility(forward & backward), volume, scalability, Localization, and internalization testingsimrannarang
