What is the difference betwween unbounded static picklist and dynamic picklist?

Unbounded Static Picklist allows you to set a value apart from what is already specified as part of List of Values. A Dynamic picklist is based on a business component and the values are derived from the BC based on foreign key relationship.

When you define the picklist in view  "Administration - Data -> List of values", select the field "Translate" for picklist and for all the values of the picklist. After this change you must clear picklist cache and possible also restart Siebel service.

During development,it is necessary to compile the changes frequently for the modifcations we do.So,it may not be feasible to do a full compile each time you do a small modifcation.In such cases,we do an incremental compile,taking the latest srf and compiling on and above that.Kris.
