During development,it is necessary to compile the changes frequently for the modifcations we do.So,it may not be feasible to do a full compile each time you do a small modifcation.In such cases,we do an incremental compile,taking the latest srf and compiling on and above that.Kris.

Hi,You use incremental compile whene you need to compile only changed projects. Full compile is a compilation of all Siebel projects.

Where the IFB files reside is a configurable parm. But the default is siebsrvradmin. Note that even though the ifb files may be in the correct location you will still gete a file not found error for unix/aix based siebel servers if you have not run the chmod +x on the ifb file set.

I dont think its possible to create warning message from ifb file.But the logs can be checked for error provided the appropriate parameters are given while running the ifb file.
