I'm currently working in one of the largest MNC IT companies in the world in a sales role as a manager very close to home...hence all the "perks/benefits" and work/life balance with a 5 day work week... I m working on SQL, Oracle 10g and I have beginners knowledge of Oracle. I would like to learn testing tools without attending any classes. What would be the best way to start. I downloaded load runner but couldn't complete exploring before the expiry date and unable to reinstall as license is required for further use. Is there a way out of this. Could someone guide me. Hi, I am vimala. I completed my graduation B.Com in 2001. I finished some courses in computers like MS-Office, Accounting Packages, Windows Networking (ADMN), C with data structures & SAP FI/CO. I am expert in Ms-Office and accounting packages. Remaining all had knowledge no working experience. After completing my graduation I worked as an accountant (1.7years) as an audit assistant (2.7years). And I worked in Karvy (BPO) for accounts payable department for one year and right now I am with GE (BPO) in accounts payable working on SAP. Here my problem is still I am drawing 9K per month. But my juniors or any others when I compare they are earning 20K and above. Could you please suggest what I have to do?

Hai, i finished my B.Sc hotel management in 2002 after that i met accident so i was not able to work in hotel industry. i started my career in call center in 2004 till now i am working in call center recently in joined MCA regular college. but i have a doubt were i took correct decision or not. after completing my MCA were i will get job in very big companies like Microsoft, CTS, TCS, Verizon Etc. is it easy to enter software field at age of 27 year in software industry with MCA degree (with academic breaks). Please help me.

There is no need to worry, just try best in MCA, clear all the concept, choose any technology and try to work practically. Work on any project as part time. As a fresher some big companies have criteria but not all. For exp. entry you must have sound technical knowladge.

I am a central govt. employee, 33 years old and have completed MCA in the year 2000. Currently am not in softwares and working in Bhopal. You can easily swithch in software field by taking training in SAP, DOTNET, JAVA in which you feel comfortable.

Start Functional as there are a lot of job opportunities there and you can get an heads up in the field more than the technical side and then later on start looking into technical stuff to. this will give you a head start and you will have the experience you need
