Hi,I have done BE in Elect Engg. in 2000. I worked in software development for 15 months and since then working in a BPO as Technical Support. I want to change my carrier and go to some technical like Software Testing or Linux Administrator but I do not understand how to cover this large gap of working in a BPO. Please help.

Even though you were working with BPO you were into Technical Support as mentined by you. Though this is not a major plus it adds to your exp a litte bit. So dont think on that.What are the software skills you are aware of or you have strength. Let me know about this and I would give my guidance based on your reply.

Hi,

I was working for datawarehousing for 2.7 years. But I didnt get any Exposure to work in market scope tools and most of time I was in bench.

BUt I have worked in Testing an ETL product, Webapplication and I know Oracle database.

So, Now I have planned to work in Testing..

Whether it is a correct choice?....

Can anyone guide me to enter this field?
