Here are a few things that can be monitored on web servers for each application:

MEMORY
1) Pages per second
2) Available bytes
3) Committed bytes
4) Pool nonpaged bytes

PROCESSOR
1) Percent of processor tiime
2) Queue length

DISK (Logical or Physical)
1) Percent disk time
2) Queue length
3) Average bytes per transfer
