NTFS

1)allows access local to w2k,w2k3,XP,win NT4 with SP4 & later may get access for somefile.

2)Maximum size of partition is 2 Terabytes & more.

3)Maximum File size is upto 16TB.

4)File & folder Encryption is possible only in NTFS.

FAT 32

1)Fat 32 Allows access to win 95,98,win millenium,win2k,xp on local partition.

2)Maximum size of partition is upto 2 TB.

3)Maximum File size is upto 4 GB.

4)File & folder Encryption is not possible.

Preemptive SJF: This scheduling algo processes the job with minimum CPU burst time. if any other job arrives having lesser CPU BT. It will preempt the current one and provide CPU to the shortest one. CPU BT: the time taken by a process for execution by CPU and IO BT: time taken for IO event.

You can do this in the following ways:

Using the net user command

1) This is assuming if you have a valid account with admin rights open command prompt, type "net user", it will show all user accounts including Admin then simply type "net user <login name> *"

It'll ask for the new password...

2) You can use WinXP CD to repair the OS and when it reaches installing devices progress bar, press shift+F10, you'll get a console, type "nusrmgr.cpl", you'll get a GUI to change/remove password...(haven't tried this one too)

3) There are many softwares made for this very purpose, one such is Winternals (This is a paid software, you may want to find an open source one), what it'll do is run parallely with XP and give you the option to change the password.
