Preemptive SJF: This scheduling algo processes the job with minimum CPU burst time. if any other job arrives having lesser CPU BT. It will preempt the current one and provide CPU to the shortest one. CPU BT: the time taken by a process for execution by CPU and IO BT: time taken for IO event.

Average access time for memory read=hit ratio*cache access time+(1-hit ratio)*main memory access timeTherefore , Avg access time = 0.9 * 50ns + ( 1- 0.9 ) * 500ns = 95 ns

In memory mapped i/o the data transfer is like between two memory segments..i.e the i/o port  is referred by a memory address.where in i/o mapped i/o we use specific command and i/o port is not mentioned as a memory address.
