Switch from IT job to lecturer in Engineering Colleges?

I had 7 months experience in IT company as a post of Web Developer. But I am not feeling comfortable in that field. Now I want to do lectureship in Engineering Colleges, because I am interested in that one. so, Can I switch to there please suggest me

Firstly it is very important to choose your goal in life, if you feel that you are not comfortable in IT sector so left it with out wasting your time, As you say that you are interesting in education sector in Engineering college, It will benefit you two type you will be on contact to the syllabus of engineering and also you can prepare for MNC Companies too.
Also focus to do M.tech In this line it will be a great opportunities in the line of education.
