Application builds at times consists of objects with Special Properties or Advanced Technology objects or Non Standard objects. To recognize these objects either Smart Identification or low level Recording or Virtual Objects are used.


A Smart Identifier could be a a Windows Id or MSW ID.

Smart Identification Navigation:

 

QTP-->Tools Menu-->Object Identification-->Select Corresponding build parent technology

as environment-->Select type of Non-Standard Object depending on nature (e.g.: Button).

Select enable smart identification check box --> Click Configure --> Select our interested properties as "Base" and "Optional".
