Can any one give me example of a bug with high priority and low severity?

Suppose the correct Company website banner is - ABCD.
but if it is displaying something like - ABED
then 1 defect found with, Priority - HIGH, Severity - LOW

Hi,

Actually the priority depends on client,but severity depends on functionality..

Ex:-

    Suppose requirment of client is exact without spelling mistake.If u observe any such type of cosmotic defect, it may under low severity but having high severity....

I do agree with Santosh....but i am telling you in more detail.....

If the company website banner is ABCD but if it is displaying something like ACDB then it is definitely a bug with High Priority and Low Severity because Priority is related with Customer/Client and Severity is related with Functionality. Spelling mistake in website banner doesn't going to affect any funtionality but it will leave bad impact on the customer/client and thus will be a bug with high priority and low severity.

"Google" Web page title is misspelled as "Gogle".

Its a candidate for high priority and low severity.

Where misspelled word is not going to affect the functionality of google anyways.

However people will not recognise the web site as google. which is not good in terms of business.
