Hi, friends All are doing fine with great strengths here i have some doubts 1) What are the demerits of winrunner?2) We write the test data after what are the principles to do testing an application?3) When we are in system testing but suddenly the customer wants to change something in the req phase and also he finds it is most visible to end user then we are again testing the whole application or particular module like to test the unit and integration and system testing. Because that I think it effects the hole testing process.Let me know we test entire application?4) When coding is changes we do regression testing but we test the entire module (previously tested test cases) again when new fixes by the developer or particular test case? 5) What is the high severity and low priority or viceversa? pls give me examples.6) what is a test template who create this?7) What is the meaning of exhaustive testing?8) When testing schedule is nearer at that time but our testing is not completed only 60% remain 40% is not completed with in stipulated time. But the customer not ready to give extra time to complete the project in that time what we do?9)what are non functional tests?10) could you tell me how to add two numbers in winrunner? Is it use by static or public? Hi Satish,I think i can answer a few questions.1. Demerits of Winrunner; The biggest drawback of Winrunner is it does not support web testing. It also does not support multiple exception handling.2. Looking at the SRS(Software Requirement Specification) we prepare the Traceability matrix with a view that we do not missout on any of the requirements. The master test plan and the test cases are prepared and each test case is traced back to the requirements in the traceability matrix. Th test data is prepared against the test case and then we follow the steps written in the test case to test the application.3. Yes satish you are right. Requesting a change during the System testing phase can impact the entire Software development process. We can explain the clients about the possible illeffects and still if the client needs the change we need to modify the test cases and test the application accordingly.4. When even a small part of the code is changed we need to perform regression testing on the entire application because a small change in one part can affect the application in the other part.5. Test Template could be prepared by the QA assigned to the project or the lead. (Depends on the size of the company)6. Exhaustive testing is deep testing of the application. Again the complete process can vary depending on the organization and its size and the practice which it follows.Hope this will helpRegards,Teena.

 The main dis advantage of winrunner is we can not test the web page application to 100% and we have capture the gui objects for each and every application
