MSW_ID is unique id . It doesn't change. You select index selector, so that it gives the unique identification of that object.

Hi,You cannot change the MSW_Id, MSW_Class as its constant for any type of the object..The workaround for this is.check the object class in the gui confguration, remove MSW_ID from the list of the orb...

I have recorded the regular flight application (flight a) through winrunner.I try to record the login part ,input date,flignt ,fly from ,fly to ,name ,tickets and inserted. But while running the script.It is stopping at the step where is say "obj_type ("MSMaskWndClass","090909");" I don't know the exact reason. Can anyone assit me to solve this issue?Do we have to change the logical name of the object?

I think the answer mentioned above is wrong.As above script checks whether the button is enbled or disabled and not the button is pressed or not.As pressing button does not necesarily disbled it.

L indicates that the GUI Map file has been loaded 0,1,2 etc indicates the numerical position of the GUI file in the entire list of GUI files * indicates that the GUI map file contents have been modified. The * sign will disappear when the GUI file is saved.

Guys I think there is a lot of confusion here. In My project I deal with GUI map files that range from L1 To L24. L0 is the temp.gui But L1 to L24 are already present. I make use of L21 very often. So there must be another explanation of why the alphabet L gets prefixed to the GUI file name.
