In an HTML page, if there are three checkboxes and all are having same names internally and externally, then while recording how it would be distinguished?

In such cases mostly there will be index attribute that will associated with the checkbox. Recorder will record using that. Or they can also be identified using the parent table ID and then using column numbers

I use automated testing tools for regression testing. It saves me time of repeating the tests, feeding data/retrieving data manually into/from the application under test. Also, I can ensure that no functionality is missed during testing.

I can use testing tools to conduct mainly system testing and regression testing.Intaially i need to record the test cases with the automation tool and after that i can run the generated script to get the results of the build.

Automation testing is not a replacement for manual testing its just a continuation for manual testing. Because initially every application will be tested manually once the application has come to a stable state then only it is suggested to do automation testing.
