Can hnadle errors in call transaction using internal table having structure BDCMSGCOLL, But this alone does not help to view errors and eradicate it. To view the errors that is holded in internal table use function module FORMAT_MESSAGE. This helps to get a look at the errors.

The disadvantage in ALV is the output layout. It is always in tabular format.In classical reports we can format the layout but it has far more restrictions than ALV. Based on the requirement the same should be chosen.RegardsSagar

We can create a DATAELEMENT with push button entry..but for that we need a already created field with both DATAELEMENT & DOMAIN....which may be the PRIMARY KEY for the table. So one field must be there with PRIMARY KEY.

Don't get confused,  First up you should aware of the enhancement, enhancement means to modify the standard transaction based on the user requirements. But BADI is one part of enahancement. Its full and full opps oriented concept. Regards,Sankaran Ramaiah
