Material type tells you whether a material is a Finished good, semi-finished, trading good, beverages , food etc. Like this there are nearly 40 material types provided by SAP , you can find them in MARA table -> F4 on MTART field.

Suppose if I am uploading flat file (notepad file) from desktop to SAP system, so while uploading we need to do recording or it is not necessary for uploading process in ABAP. please help

At the time of creating table through, there is a check box for table maintenance allowed.So if you want to activate the table meintenance, just mark this box. Once table gets activated, u can change its contents through SM30 ot Through Table Maintenance.

Yes, we can create dictionary tables without referring to data elements. This is done by clicking on "Built in type" button during table creation.

RE: difference between view and table    For data hiding to users from the data table we use views. Views stores only a  particular query.Whenever we call that view it executes that query only. It does not store any data.We can also get some attributes of a table as view.

When u r using control break commands.internal table must be sorted with key field.and control-break commands must be used in between the LOOP and ENDLOOP only.

Select the fieldname for which you want to know the table name.Then choose where-used-list button where it shows list ,out of which you select table name option in that list.Then the table names containing this field is displayed.

Don't cross the total size of each record to 255 charactersmaximum we can have 216 fields in a tableand max 16 key fields.hope this may help you.
