How to create S.No variable which starts from 1 ?
I am trying to create S.No. column for a report by writing this formulae =RowIndex() Where (="2002")But is generating S.No starting from 0 (not from 1).

Yes after creating report also we can apply template which you wanted to apply but one report at a time at desktop,Go to Format-->Report-->Apply template.You will go to all report template and also you have a browser to your own template.

You should use more than 1 data provider when you feel that you need different data set to design your report properly. These data providers can be from different database/universe or same database/universe.

No need to change the universe, create some report level variables like:Year =Year([Date]), Month =Month([Date]), DayNumber([Date]) etc, but if you want to only show them differently just change the dateformat of the cell.

The Problem is in your schema. Please check your joins, and cardinalities
also check loops.
Whenever cardinalities is not set proper its give you three types of error.
1-->Incompatibility result
2-->Ambigeous result
3-->Cartiesum result

To prevent cartesian product when running a report initially you can set it in the Universe Parameters.File ----> Parameters ----> SQL tab ----> two options for Cartesian products 1) Prevent 2) warn (default) -----> click any one of them and then OK

Yes, it's too good.But One more thing is there , We can use The @Function (@variable,@Prompt) in the derived Table ,but we can't do the Same thing in the Views.So you can say that these are benefits are in the Derived Tables.
