Micro cube means universe designer tool in business objects.it is used to create semantic layer or meaning full layer b/w reportsa and databases.
It can convert the technical names as business names to understand the clients.

The micro cube is not the Universe Designer. The micro cube is the result set from the query that the Web Intelligence server then processes base on the report definition.

The micro cube is not the universe designer tool. The micro cube refers to the data set returned from the query that is then processed by the WebIntelligence (or other report tool).

The micro cube refers to the data set returned from the query that is then processed by the Web Intelligence. For example, when we drill the data, the data in the micro cube is analyzed. The micro cube contains the data fetched by selection level aggregation. That data is again aggregated in the micro cube by project level aggregation
