If you have only one look up table in loop then use Alias .If you have look up table that is on only one end of Join then use Alias to solve the join path problem.If you have more than one fact table use context to solve the problem.

Strange but not immpossible.You have to create a dataprovider by selecting others-->personal files.Now, you have to create a dummy object and when you are using that?in BO reporting then add that to filter panel and go for query results of dataprovider, then you can take that?and proceed.

Universal refer to in all. So, in BO there are many types of joins which are used as per need while designing. There is no such join that can be used everywhere across the Business object for joining purpose. So there is nothing called as universal join.

You can do in Webi also. This is not the proper way but it is just a work around. Just make the backgroung color and text color white and minimize the width. you will only see a little gap in the report
