I hav been placed in 3i infotech .i am a mechanical engineer due to pass out in 2006 . i plan to do an MBA after about an year.my question is that if i go in IT Field will it be an advantage or disadvantage while doing an MBA also can anyone shed some light on 3i and scope of freshers out thereawaiting a reply please help

I am a Bcom Graduate of Age 27 years based in Mumbai, have just completed SAP-ABAP(last month).Earlier while doing Bcom, had completed 2 year course from Aptech. Sware Skill sets include Oracle,D2k, C, VB, PL/SQL. I have worked as Junior programmer(PL/SQL) for six months. But for last 6 years working in BPO industry(Call Centre AGENT). Once you have basic knowledge on mainframes and it tools you could get into many companies. It is not absolutely necessary that you ahve to work in COBOL in it. Widen your job search and I am sure your would get it. All the Best

Hi, I am an administration executive and draw a fair salary. But, I have an liking towards software from my school days. I could not do my B.E, because of my financial constraints, hence, landed doing B.Com. Now that I'm fairly settled, I want to switch to s/w line. I am also doing a course in testing and MCA.
