What is the concept of 6-stroke engines? how it works?

In a 6-stroke engine the exhaust after the 4th stroke is not dispatched... Instead it is further compressed and expanded inside the cylinder so that max. efficiency is achieved...so the total no. of strokes are 6(1.suction 2.compression 3.expansion 4.compression 5.expansion 6.Exhaust)....
