appllying trigo, we get,.

tan 15 = h/(100+y) ;

tan 30 = h/y;

solving above, we get

h=50m

let the height of the pole be h
let the distance at which the angle of elevation is 30 be x.then we have

tan 15   is h/100+x
tan 30    is h/x
by solving we get x as 866
and the height as 499.7 which is approx 500m
