This is going to be a Challenging Task .....Business Analysts have to primarily understand the Business Process of that specific domain ... In a case where you are looking to enter in to new Domain (Like from Banking to Telecom) You may have to understand the Basic concepts governing the Telecom Space (Like ERP's and CRM's) Used Extensively in Telecom Domain ...  You may have to do a lot of homework before making such a move ... Recruiter will be aware of the change you are making and may not pose high level questions to you, However,He/She would rather be looking for your analytical abilities, Communication and general management skills .... These aspects will be crucial for a recruiter to gauge you abilities to adapt to the new domain...

Needless to mention you will be treated as an Rookie in that Domain....

The most important thing is for an analyst to get to grips with the domain they are working in.  The better you know the business, the more value you will be able to add.
