The kind of object repository can be chosen through the Test menu.TestSettingsresources

Hi gayathri, what ever your explation is corret, ok i undershood.Test > Settings > Resources. In that Per-action and Shared Object repository type shows disable state. How do you enable that one? Can you give me the process?

There is no other source to change the PerAction Object Repository to Share except this

First export the repository to disk space...and copy the whole script to the new test and import the exported Repository and while saving make the repository as share

I think it's impossible to change Object Repository from one to other once it is set in Test.

Please correct me if iam wrong

Hi santosh,

I dont know about QTP 9 but in 8.2 version we can only save the object repository to the disk but I dont think there is any option to import that repository in any other test(If there is please tell)

How ever we can simple follow the the path

Test -> Settings -> Resources and change the OR type from Per- Action to Shared

As RaviQTP says..it is not allowed to change the repoitory type once the test is created. we have to create a new test to change the type of repository

Please open a new test ,At this time don,t write any script in the test pane,Then go test --> Settings--->Resources-->select the what type of repository you want
