HiThe default runlevel in aix is runlevel 2 The four fields in Inittab File is ( Identifier , runlevel,Action,commands)AIX supports 9 runlevels 0 and 1 is not user reserved for maintainence purposerun levels 3-9 can be coustmized according to the user needs

In AIX default run level is 2.

4 fields in inittab are.
<ID> :<run level> :<action>:<Command>

ID is unique string taht identifies the object.

The default run level is 2, the four field is identifier run level action command, to view the present run lenel who -r. 0 to1, 2 3,4,5,67 Ss Mm
