Depend upon the complicity of the Test case,

Test case is divided into 3 parts

1)     Functional

2)     Sanity

3)     Regression

If it is functional it will take less time , sanity will take medium time and regression will take more time

Suppose framework is ready for particular scenario , it will take less time to automate the Script

Hello Friends,

I am new to QTP testing tool, can you please guide me how to go about learning this tool effectively. Also can you send me Faq'a with answers.

Also I want to know, in the organisation will they build frame work to test using QTP or winrunner?

hi ,U can learn QTP easily as it is easier than WR . Go through the QTP help quite and learn the important topics which used in the realtime .
