If QTP faces a problematic situation, it searches for the solution, If at all it finds the solution it overcomes the situation.With Recovery scenario we can over come that problem.First we have to build a recovery scenario.create an empty Vbscrip file.Process :1. First go to tools and go with Recovery scenario manager. Follow the path and select on which u want to built the scenario. Select function call in the recovery operation wizard and then select the vbscript file which u created. recover scenarios can be built on , Pop up windows Object state Test run error application crash in the end save in the appropriate place.By now u have built the recovery scenario.2. now we have to associate the scenario to the test. go to test in qtp's menu bar go with settings go with recovery scnario add ur scenario by using the new and browse buttons.---------------i hope it might help u-----------------------
