What are the pros and cons of using Shared and Per Action repositories?

Per Action Repository is specific to only one QTP script.
While Shared Repository can be used in which ever Script desired.

Just that whenever any modification is done in the Shared OR, it should again be saved otherwise it will not be effected when used later.
