HiI am in the process of evaluating Automation tool for my project which is in C#.net.Its an Desktop application.Can any one please let me know whether QTP 8.2 with .NET Add ins will support this application.I need to basically carried out the Regression testing.Saurit.

Yes , You can go ahead and use QTP for regression testing of C#.net Project...

Yes absolutely, first you select .Net in add-in manager after that you can run your scripting.

You can go for QTP and while buying the QTP you should make sure that u also ordered ".net addin". As per my knowledge .net addin is not given by default with QTP package.


Once u have the ".net addin", you can install the QTP and the addin to the QTP... then it allows you to automate .net application
