Hi, after the job statement and before EXEC statement..it is for to store catalog procedure in member of pds

Hi Jasmin,

I am new to this group,here is wat u have asked for JCLLIB has mainly two properties:

1) if u dont specify the steplib under exec then jcllib dsn name will be taken as pds where the load module of the program is present

2) if u specify both jcllib and steplib steplib will override jcllib

please let me know if u need clarifications..!!

correct me if am wrong

Hey Ajay, You are mixing the funda of Joblib and jcllib. jcllib is for storing procs and jobslib,steplibs are for mentioning the libraries of load modules.

jcllib is used for storing catalog procedures,

i.e. proclib jcllib dd dsn name and pds name.

JCLLIB is default search libraray for all jobsteps in the job.it shold be coded immediately after JOB statement.
