I have encountered a problem while working on QTP 8.2.I am not able to view/modify the QTP scripts in Expert View as the Expert view gets disabled.The scenario is like:- Open any existing script, it is displayed in Keyword as well as Expert view.- Now either switch over to Keyword view or any other application.- Now again switch over to Expert view of QTP.The Expert view is disabled, i cannot even view the script, but the script is displayed in keyword view.If you or any other person has any idea regarding the problem or have any solution, pls let me know.

hi

Do as i say, when u click on record button " Record and Run Settings" window will be open in that Select " Windows Applications Tab" in that select choose 2 rd option ie: Record and run on these applications . and then click on apply and then ok . then verify it. script will be displayed.

I too have similar problem expert view gets disabled( expert view screen turns grey) switching between keyword and expert view. What is the solution???

Hi
While saving the script make sure that it is save as reusable action
otherwise when you open again it ll be masked you cannot modify
