Why the size of CD is limited to 650/700 MB?

I don't think it's becoz of the size, then how come DVD can store in GB's?It's becoz of the productive medium of the disc.

it s bcoz the density of the cd s less when compared to the density of dvd.

so cd can store only less capacity ie 700 mb

in future dvd s going to come with more gbs so we can watch 16 movies in a single dvd.

because of cd is plastuc material which was coated with magnetic material iorn oxide which is having low density as wel magntic flux which encoding through arm on magnetic material i in limited form which is not more than 750 mb.

Size of CD is limited to 650/700 mb because of CD Drives designed to support upto 700mb. The next verson is DVD, to store more capacity in GBs.
