Correlation is used in Loadrunner.......We dont have any Correlation concept in winrunner.

I want to test a web page by using WinRunner.the GUI does not recognize the objects in the page, instead it takes HTML style which contains the objects. how to test the objects in the web page(EX:login PAGE)

You can either use Virtual object wizard or you can also use descriptive programming by learning the logical name and physical properties thru GUY SPY.

I have que. about text check point in context sensitive mode in winrunner. i have recorded text check point for text object. but the function obj_get_text does not retun text in the text box but it returns blank value("").so how to read the text?

If a specified text is a read only from the screen you can choose Create -> Get Text-> From Screen Area or click on Get Text from Screen Area button on the User toolbar to read the text

Hi,Sometimes even if you get the obj_get_text is written in your script then also winrunner does not ideantifies the selected text.. in that case you can use 'Font Expert' to learn that font then Winrunner can itentify that perticular font......

While performing regression testing, if in the new build we get lesser controls on a form as compared to the early build, then WR doesn't show any error, just a context sensitive error in the end, showing that the control was missing. I used a checkpoint on that control so that the checkpoint should fail if the control was not in the next build but that doesn't happen. The test status is Pass, the checkpoint is not checked. In this scenario can anyone tell me how am I supposed to perform regression when I cannot check that some controls are missing in my application? Please help.
