You can't check the Background and foreground properties of objects.It's not avialable.Bitmap checkpoint is the only way to verify the color of object

hi?? u can open either the appln or d winrunner that doesn't matter..?? after opening the particular appln read the objects that u want to check(For Eg: UserName Textbox, Password Textbox etc..?) using the gui map editor LEARN ption... then u?record the test & run it..??

Hi,  Compile module doesnt have executable statements and we use check points to test the response of the AUT. so its not possible to use check points in compile module coz its non executable. Compile module is just a library of functions.

In any software, we go for only Syntax check, not for spell check.In Document software like MSword, there only we go for spell check.Syntax check is available in winrunner from version 7. 5To check syntax Tools->general options->syntax checkor ALT-R(right alt button)+F5

Spellings as far as Syntax is concerned can be checked thru Tools>Syntax Check, however if you want to check spellings in the AUT, a checkpoint will only check the change in spellings but will not be able to check the dictionary eqvivalent of it.
