GUI files allows the winruuner and it's extension is .gui

There is no extension for WinRunner test files.

There is no extension for winrunner file. Script file shows only  Winrunner icon in open window when it open from menu (File->open(Ctrl+O)). Winrunner creates a seprate dir for each script which contain header file, gui file, exp (for expected gui) dir, chklist dir and  db dir. so all files and dir containing the information about script. there are also creates two script file in sript dir 1) script.bak 2)script.sav

You can not use these two files as a script. but by removing its extension winrunner allow these files as a script

There is no extension for the test file rather then it will save the test in the file name as a directory (i.e) if the script name is divison then the directory will be created as division. From the directory division different type of required subdirectory and files will be saved (i.e) Exp, Res, DB, script, lock etc.,

 WinRunner saves it file type as WinRunner Tests.

 But the created files done have any file extensions.

Once u save a WinRunner test means, it creates a folder with the test name specified.

GUI map with ".gui"Check lists with ".ckl"database check point for defaulat and custom is ".cdl"database check for runtime is ".cvr"and so on.......
