I donot know about watch list but i can give the idea of Batch modeBatch mode is nothing Silence mode its uses for continuous excutions ofthe win runner scripts with stopping in the middle even the scripts contain errors at last it will display the errors in the result sub folder

You can use the Recovery Manager and create a scenarios for each of the options Object event, Popup event or TSL event and what actions need to be taken (to call a handler function/close a window etc) and activate it by default when the event occurs.

In any software, we go for only Syntax check, not for spell check.In Document software like MSword, there only we go for spell check.Syntax check is available in winrunner from version 7. 5To check syntax Tools->general options->syntax checkor ALT-R(right alt button)+F5

Spellings as far as Syntax is concerned can be checked thru Tools>Syntax Check, however if you want to check spellings in the AUT, a checkpoint will only check the change in spellings but will not be able to check the dictionary eqvivalent of it.

Hi aa2901U are correct.As u said for performance we use loadrunner.QTP also for funtional testing like winrunner.But qtp has some advanced features over winrunner.In qtp we can test web-based applications also.thanx
