In the Test Plan of test director you can creat the sperate folder depending on the modules in your project.Creat a main module in the test plan and add sub module to that.

Test director: It is a test management tools. Here we are writing test cases and generating scripts also. And posting defects. One more advantage is requirements coverage option also is there.

BUGZILLA: It is useful only for tracking defects.

Actually we use data driven wizard in Winrunner. Data driven wizard includes excel sheets, MS word etc. But in QTP the datasheets are available on the bottom of the software. so noneed of data Driven wizard option. if i am wrong correct me

Hi To export the test cases from spreadsheet to TD there are 8 steps.In 6th step we need to map the Td fields with corresponding Spreadsheet columns.Hence you are the mapping so you can map according to your specifications.hope this will solve your problem if not please let me know?Noor

I tried Second one its not working, when you select defect copy into Clipboard and past in the Excel, its pasing only defect no..if am not wrong, the only whey to save into Excel is we need select file, Rlight click and Save As option there we can get into Excel.if its worg pls correct me

When you work with WinRunner, you can choose to save your tests directly to your TestDirector database or while creating a test case in the TestDirector we can specify whether the script in automated or manual. And if it is automated script then TestDirector will build a skeleton for the script that can be later modified into one which could be used to test the AUT.
