QTP with VBScript
Hi,
I am a beginner in QTP and I am learning by myself. My question is how to create a script in QTP and then enhance it (the scripts) with VbScripts. I am really confused. Please throw some light as I really want to learn QTPsudhapriya.c

Using object spy you can fetch SOE object properties and also method associated with it. Using simple modification you can generate VB Script

How can we select multiple rows in a webtable which has no checkboxes to click and select?
Webtable does not have check box to select. Application has pagination done, so per page the webtable shows 500 rows. To select one row, we need to just click on the specific row at any location.

You can download the webtable in an Excel sheet then highlight the required rows in Excel simply by using Rows.select command. After that you can use those rows the way you wish.

Yes it is possible to run more than 1 test in QTP using a tool named " Sandboxie ". But it makes the machine respond slowly.
So it is better to run one test at a time using QTP.aruna

No.......QTP is designed in such a fashion that only one script can be run one time,in one sense it is one of the disadvantage,QTP is not a multiprocessing system.

"On Error Resume Next" is used when you are sure about the step where the error can occur.
Whereas, Recovery Scenario can be used to handle unxpected event or error.Basanagouda

First of all,You get??the runtime parameter by using GetROproperty and store in a variable, say XThen?by using DataTable.Value("sheetname",dtGlobal/LocalSheet)=XI hope it will solve your problem.

Hello,I'm using QTP 8.2. and I want to test an Application which is designed with Oracle Forms 10 g.Before installing the Oracle Addin for QTP 8.2. I was able to open the Application with QTP and IExplorer 6.0.After Installing the Oracle Addin for QTP 8.2. I wasn't able to open the Application neither with QTP nor ÍExplorer.I only installed the Addin. I am using QTP8.2I have a Page which has a scroll bar. The button to be clicked is visible only after we scroll down.I have recorded the click. You need to use descriptive programming use x and y?co-ordinates for that button. It would be useful when you spy the object you will get x and y co-ordinate.
