Load gen name it stands for IP address or sys name we have to mention there.
To connect the generator.
Whether it is remote or local host you want to generate the script.

Based on the vuser monitor what is the trans resp time at a point like 2000 vusers what is the throughput for the same(2000), what abt the network delay etc by using merge graph. we can compare the graphs in Y-axis.

Hiyou can analyse the online Monitors in Controller while running the scenario and after completing the scenario running u can analyse the results in the Analysis component.Venkat

My application is retail application in that i have to select different items. What I want to ask the condition is if we run that script for 10 users then for each user the items selected should be different for each user.All items have there own category and subcategory ,all are the links so to do this what we have to correlate in the script so that we can get the desired result.Please help me as soon as possible.thank you.

Hi,You can parameterzie the category and subcategory value, along with user id and allow the user to take there own category and subcategory in parameter by using same line as "user_parameter_name".Cheers

No,simply we can create TSL scripts.But without the interaction of application with server, then load testimg has no use.

In order to use User-Defined function,one has to create a DLL file in the bin folder of the Load Runner directory.Once the function is defined in the dll, it can be used anywhere in the script by just calling the function

Some times we can execute different scenarios one aftre the other... so here we define these scenarios in gropus... like a group oof 10 vuser will execute the scenario 1 and the group of 20 vuser will execute the scenario 2... and so on.let me know if u need any more info on this.

You can have different "groups" of Vusers run different scripts on your load generator. Eg: Group 1: 50 Vusers running script 1 Group 2: 100 Vusers running script 2and so on...

It's possible that your vusers are sharing session objects. You may have uncovered a security risk.

It shows that the application is not able to withstand the load and hence the response time is getting degraded. It needs tuning to be done.
