What is the difference between Hits per sec and Request per sec in LR?

Hits per sec is the number of calls to the Webserver per second.
And Request per sec is the number of request made to the webserver per second.
Point to be notice here is "one Request may have many calls(Hits)".

Hits/second are the number of HTTP requests made by VUsers to the Web Server in a scenario or session step run on a per second basis.

Requests/second are the number of requests completed during each second of scenario run.
