A concept which is used to model a relationship between a collection of entities and relationships. It is used when we need to express a relationship among relationships. Aggregation - a feature of the entity relationship model that allows a relationship set to participate in another relationship set. This is indicated on an ER diagram by drawing a dashed box around the aggregation.

Fish-bone Analysis is a cause and effect analysis tool that helps to identify the problem and causes of the problem using a fish-like structure - the problem is at the head of the fish and the skeleton are the causes. Example is if an organization is experiencing decline in profit, the possible causes could be increase in cost of production, decline in revenue, competition in the market, substitute for our products etc. This analysis is usually conducted in a brainstorming session.

What ever data base structure you have you can get a Logical model out of it using Reverse Engineering. Erwin is one data model tool which does it. You should apply normalizing techniques to bring the same to a 3NF (Normal Form) and reduce the redundancy. Creating new entities by breaking up of de-normalized entities. Resolving many to many relationships. Finally create a new database structure (Physical Model) based on 3NF from the logical model. Once you acheive a model in 3NF you can do Data migration by simple ETVL ( Extract, Transform, Validation and Load) from old data structure to new data structure. Before doing it your High Level Design should have proper Data mapping document and Metadata document so that you do not lose data.

1.MVC1 consists of Web browser accessing Web-tier JSP pages. The JSP pages access Web-tier JavaBeans that represent the application model, and the next view to display is determined by hyperlinks selected in the source document or by request parameters. 2.MVC1 is page-centric design, meaning any JSP page can either present in the JSP or may be called directly from the JSP page. 3.MVC1 Combines both presentation logic with the Business logic. 4.MVC1 we can have multiple controller servlets. 1.MVC2 introduces a controller servlet between the browser and the JSP pages. The controller centralizes the logic for dispatching requests to the next view based on the request URL, input parameters, and application state. 2.MVC2 removes the page-centric property by separating Presentation, Control logic and Application state. 3.MVC2 can have only one controller servlet .

The query calculation helps to create a report to add a new row or column with values that are based on a calculations. Layout calculation helps to create a report which contains run time information such as current time, date, and user name.It does not perform any operations on data.

Star Schema:
Well in star schema you just enter your desired facts and all the primary keys of your dimensional tables in Fact table. And fact tables primary is the union of its all dimension table key. In star schema dimensional tables are usually not in BCNF form.
SnowFlake:
Its almost like starschema but in this our dimension tables are in 3rd NF, so more dimensions tables. And these dimension tables are linked by primary, foreign key relation.

Star flake schema's are snowflake schema's where only some of the dimension tables have been denormalized.
Every star flake schema is also a snowflake schema.
Not every snowflake schema is a starflake schema.
A snowflake schema with all of its dimension tables normalized is not a starflake schema.

False, all databases need not be in 3NF, however in most cases in the business world databases tend to be in 3NF or BCNF
