here the information about 1 start and 1stop bit is given to confuse the candidate ,
in synchronous transmission there is no need of start and stop bits so 2400/(7+1) is the ans..........

I think you should do a project based on micro controller...if you have a knowledge of MATLAB then it will be an added advantage for you, you can make a project on that. The micro controller based projects are simple and easy to understand and even you can understand their programs easily..
