The name polymorphism actually specifies some meaning like poly-many and morphus-structure. it is the ability to take more than one form.
ex: If we explain the techniques required for drawing then we can have the ability to draw circle or triangle or sphere etc. that is many pictures can be accessed using same drawing technique
