Cross cabling is used for connection between 2 similar devices such as Router to Router or peer system and the Colour sequence is G (Green) G (White of Green) O (Orange) B (Brown) B (White Of Brown) O (White of Orange) B (Blue) B (White of Blue).

Straight Cabling is used for connection between 2 dissimilar devices such as Router to Switch or Computer and the colour sequence is O (Orange) O (White of Orange) G (Green) B (Brown) B (White Of Brown) G (White of Green) B (Blue) B (White of Blue).
