C Interrupts

How are interrupts executed in C? Where are interrupts stored in the memory? What actually occurs when interrupts are encountered?

When ever interrupt will occurs (ex: press keypoard or etc...) while excuting C programming the control stop execution and pushed current data in stack and switch to interrupt handler and then call ISR after excuting return to interrupt handler by using IRET function call. interrupt handler retun to user programming and continue execution from next instructions..
