In Current scenario, Government Job is better option if you think your existing Company is not going to give you pink slip in next year or so. So there is a job security as well as increase in your designation as well salary. Also it is 10 times harder? to get government job.

However if you?have confidence and you have an excellent background then no one can stop you in MNC for your personal growth. ERP is good field and in near future it will increase not stable.?If you are, then stay in MNC, situation will be better in 3-4 years. Mohit

If you are going for Government job. While there are other alternatives in the private sector. You can become a patent analyst and get double hike in salary.

If you've got a technical degree but don't know how to use it, take a look at what a role in intellectual property can offer. A patent attorney/agent is a specialized techno legal professional who is qualified to write, obtain and advise clients about patents and to protect the intellectual property (IP) rights in commercial products or processes.

A legal background is not required, however: the essential requirement for patent law is technical expertise. Patent attorneys may deal with patents, which protect technological innovations, and with other types of IP such as registered and unregistered designs, which protect the shape and appearance of products. A patent attorney can work for a private firm or an organization’s in-house patent department.

Hope this information works for you
