Why Descriptive Testing

Why do we go for Descriptive when we have option to test the application in record mode? If your answer is "because of dynamic nature" then pls justify it.

Well, if you know descriptive programming then you can automate almost every manual concepts. Dynamic in nature means - that any thing can be a dynamic for an example requirements, design, plan...etc. So when things go on changing we can not predict release delivery for actual testing (ofcourse estimation helps us), but when you think in customer point of view its very critical. So, when you know the descriptive programming you can write the code for upcoming build to test.
