FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES
1.
   a) Install SQL Server
   b) Then create Content Manager (New Database) In SQL Server
   c)Then apply securities such as Database login Id and username
2.
  Then Install cognos BI Server
3.Then open cognos configuration and apply the  Content manager Details

Go to the location where the report is saved on Cognos connection.
Click on the name of the report. The report will run in the format already saved in the "Set  Properties" option.
