In QTP having 4 types of Recoveries
1. Popup,
2. Object State,
3. Test run Error and
4. Application Crash
Whenever you are doing some execution if you find any of the problem related to this four, You have to create the recovery for that and you need to save it. At time execution if you are facing any problem related to this you have to select which recovery you want to put. Once you did that, you have to run the application this if any error comes system will check whether there any recovery Having for that it checks, if it there it invokes and kill that error. For selecting any of the recoveries you have to browse add that, before that you have to Save the related recoveries. Generally recoveries are
use full at the time of batch run mode.
