there are 2 types of bearings-sliding contact and rolling contact...and 2 types of rivetted joint also- lap and butt

There are mainly two types of bearings.  

1)Friction Bearings



 2)Anti-Friction Bearings

Plain bearings
Ball bearings
Angular contact ball bearings
Cylindrical roller bearings
Needle roller bearings
Spherical roller bearings
The tapered roller bearing
